Two More From Navajo Country

Here are a couple more photographs to serve as a preview for a century ride I'm making this summer. These two images were made while I reconnoitered northeastern Arizona, laying out the route we'll take.

The trading post - part country store, part mini-mart - is an outpost in a landscape mostly without the trappings of human occupation.

The sandstone butte is one many which will be visible over much of the bike route.
